My favorite author and thinker on this most salient topic is Sir Ken Robinson. Listed below are two books and one TED video that I highly recommend to every parent, older student, or professional:

  • How School Kills Creativity »

  • The Element: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything
    by Sir Ken Robinson (2009)
  • Out of Our Minds: Learning to Be Creative
    by Sir Ken Robinson (2011)
